Sport and physical pastimes
As with other parishes and communities Sprowston had many sports clubs and groups catering for all tastes from the genteel to the real rough and tumble. It certainly gave the inhabitants the chance both enjoy the physical activity but in many cases to represent “their” Parish, Church, school or club and in some instances the County of Norfolk.
