This road is now well within the boundaries of Norwich but a quirk of fate results in it's still being in the ecclesiastical parish of Sprowston which more closely followed the original parish boundaries. The one building of real note is not far from the Prince of Denmark Junction. Built as a tram car depot for the 3'6" gauge Norwich system in 1907 it had only a life of about 30 years before the tramways were superseded by the omnibus in Norwich run by the Eastern Counties Omnibus Company Ltd. With its original purpose defunct the building became a distribution centre for a grocery company a social club and has recently been used as a retail and office premises.
